ALEXIA HOFFMANN (13) discovered her enthusiasm for racing at the age of 10 when she purchased her first bike herself.
She had no prior riding experience, just lots of determination. Realizing she was a little behind the others (most of whom started
at earlier ages) she committed herself to practicing every chance she got and within 5 weeks was able to begin racing. Her first
complete season she raced all 27 District Points races and finished in 3rd place in the 65cc Class. Then she attended American
Supercamp which really improved her racing skills. Alexia’s love of racing does not stop when the snow flies. In the winter of
2005 she became S.W.I.R.A. points champion in the School Age Class as well as the 85cc Class. Next year Alexia would like to try
racing outside of District 16.
In addition to racing Alexia also enjoys and is very dedicated to Girls Fast Pitch Softball where she plays the position of pitcher.
She is also an excellent student who is on the High Honor Roll and is featured in the 2005-2006 addition of "Who’s Who" book
featuring outstanding middle school students.
